The new Potege M400 is their new toy - a very nice looking tablet computer run on a new Intel Duo Mobile chip.

With that the speed whould actually be pretty decent and indeed, they do boast of “faster performance and multi-tasking capabilities”… hmmmm… multi-tasking….

Anyway, the M400 also has the edge in resolution - the best of any tablet in the market according to their blurb.

But things about it that might get us travelers excited are the spill-resistant keyboard and magnesium alloy case. This might provide a little peace of mind for those of us who treat our gear roughly. In fact most of the stuff I own get knocked about quite a bit and I have even managed to snap two laptops (yes, I mean snap! As in the screen section and keyboard section totall broken away from each other and connected only by a few wires… groan).

When a company starts boasting about the toughness of their gadgets, I start to listen! But this one has one of those funky, twisty screens which kind of makes me nervous - I am pretty sure I would break it in about a week of traveling.

It also has a few other bells and whistles with standard biometric identification built in, and a  bunch of other security.

Perhaps one to watch out for if you are into tablets.
