If you take your security when traveling REALLY seriously, then this is a gadget for you!

This is a .22 calibre pistol that is made to look like an innocuous mobile phone, or perhaps a mobile phone that is made to include a .22 calibre pistol - I am not really sure.

Whichever it is, it’s got police forces around the world slightly concerned after a couple of the devices were confiscated in 2000 in Europe.

Now they have showed up in the United States as well, with the New York Police Department sending out warning to all of its officers to be on the lookout for these weapons.

Now, we’re not saying you should actually pack one of these on your travels, but for the really hardcore…

Seriously though, carrying weapons when you travel is usually a very bad idea and not to be recommended.
